David Hollifield, 59
Mr. David Hollifield, 59, of Bostic, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Hugh and Margaret Sane Hollifield. David was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church and was a participant at Rutherford Life Services.
He is survived by his brother, Terry Hollifield of the home; David was constantly surrounded by many cousins, aunts, uncles, dear friends and caregivers and was loved by all of them.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Hawkins, Rev. Greg Dickens, and Dwight Hollifield will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sunshine United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Alan Hollifield, Charles Carpenter, Skipper Johnson, Eric Lail, Tim Padgett, and Bruce Ruff.
The Visitation will be from 2 pm until 3 pm Sunday in the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Rutherford Life Services, 230 Fairground Road, Spindale, NC 28160.
