Mrs. Carol Ann Collier, 69, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.
She was the widow of Bud Collier and a daughter of the late John Frank McCann Sr. and Dorothy B. McCann. She was also preceded in death by a sister, May Smith, and four brothers, Donald, Robert, David, and John Frank McCann, Jr. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Bud Collier, Jr. and his wife Melinda, and Bryon Collier and his wife Michelle "Shelly" Collier, all of Ellenboro; a daughter, Lisa Carol Campbell of Bostic; four sisters, Violet dosSantos of Ellenboro, Dorothy Wegman of Gilkey, Patricia Lucia and Elizabeth Garcia, both of Bayonne, NJ; two brothers, Peter McCann of Ellenboro and Thomas McCann of Parsippany, NJ; a grandson, Caleb Campbell.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 22, 2012 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Paul White, Jr. and Rev. Bob Philbeck will officiate.
The Visitation will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm Monday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service. Pallbearers will be Bud Collier, Jr, Wayne Deviney, Chris Melton, Bryon E. Collier, Joshua J. Collier, and Larry B. Toney II.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
