Mr. Bryan Dorsey, 59, of Shiloh, died Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of Nell Melton of Bostic and the late Doug Dorsey.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Josh Dorsey. Bryan worked with many NASCAR teams over the years, including Jimmy Means Racing, Bud Moore Racing, Andy Petree Racing, Jimmy Spencer Racing, Phoenix Racing, and was currently at JD Motorsports in Gaffney. Bryan had recently celebrated 10 years sobriety.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Alisa Dorsey of Forest City; his companion, Donna Greathouse; his brothers, Mark Dorsey and wife Michele of Shiloh, and Kent Dorsey and wife Carol, of Bostic; his 2 grandchildren, Caleb McGill and Peyton Mace; a niece and several nephews.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Sunshine United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Keys Pendleton will officiate. Pallbearers are Keith Price, Mike Suhy, Curtis Davis, Tyler Dorsey, Jason Philbeck, and Brad Means. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Means, Johnny Davis, and Larry Burns.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Monday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
Memorials may be made to Victory Junction, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
