Brooke Bumgarner, 37

Mrs. Brooke Greene Bumgarner, 37, of Golden Valley, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
She was the daughter of Bobbie Toney Parker of Bostic, and Mark and Debbie Greene of Gaffney, SC. Brooke was an EMT with Rutherford County EMS and a member of Cherry Mountain Fire Department. She was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Shelby Jean Greene; grandfather Burman Parker; grandfather Donald Greene; grandfather Robert "Bob" Toney;  grandfather-in-law Buner Hudson and grandfather-in-law Earnest Bumgarner.
She is survived by her husband, Donny Bumgarner; her daughter, Raeanne Bumgarner of the home; her son, Austin Bumgarner of the home; her grandmother, Geneva Terry of Bostic; two sisters, Cassie Lynn Chapman and her husband Doug, of Fallston, and Paige Toney of Bostic: 2 half sisters, BJ Toney of Bostic and Sara Hoyle of Forest City; her grandmothers-in-law, Eva Mae Bumgarner and Lula Mae Hudson; her mother and father-in-law, Cathy and Don Bumgarner; 2 nephews, Christian Bumgarner and Gage Chapman; 3 nieces, Abbie Chapman, Annsley Bumgarner and Skylar Bumgarner; 2 brothers-in-law, Brad Bumgarner and Andy Bumgarner: several aunts and uncles, cousins, stepsisters and stepbrothers.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Golden Valley Missionary Methodist Church. The Rev. Lamar Hewitt and Rev. Kevin Towery will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with a final EMS call for Brooke's service to EMS and the fire department. Pallbearers are Adam Burleson, Justin Bumgarner, Michael Sersland, Ryan Greene, Kaleb Johnson, Chase Watson, Robert Ledbetter and Greg Walker. Honorary Pallbearers are Andy Bumgarner, Brad Bumgarner and Steven McDaniel.
The Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm Saturday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
