Bobby Joe Houser, 55

Mr. Bobby Joe Houser, 55, of Golden Valley, died Friday, February 3, 2017 at Hospice House, Forest City.
He was the son of J.C. "Buster" Houser and Bonnie K. Houser. Bobby was a member of First Broad Baptist Church and a former member of the Cherry Mountain Fire Department. He was an avid sports fan, and he loved his Carolina Panthers and Nascar.
He is survived by his aunt, Betty Houser of Bostic; and his numerous cousins; and special to him was  his First Broad Baptist Church family, as well as his Colonial Manor family, and the Golden Valley community.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 pm Monday, February 6, 2017 at First Broad Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Bradley and Rev. Kevin Towery will officiate. Pallbearers are Brandon Hedden, Bryan Houser, Ronnie Houser, Ty Houser, Glenn Robertson, and Alvin Toney.
Friends may visit from 1 pm until 5 pm Sunday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
