Bill Alexander, 86, of Bostic, died Thursday, December 5, 2024.

He was the widower of Patricia Presnell Alexander, and the son of the late Frank and Ida Moore Alexander. Bill was a US Army veteran and a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Brackett and her husband Jerry of Ellenboro; his sons, Robert Alexander and his wife Barbara of Union Mills, Tony Alexander and his wife Lisa of Gastonia, Mitchell Alexander of Georgia, and Daniel Alexander of Six Points; his sister, Catherine Alexander of Asheville; his grandchildren, Clifford Alexander and his wife Brittany, Hollie Brackett, Melissa Keith and her husband Adam, Jordan Alexander, Autumn Alexander, Noah Alexander, and Joshua Alexander; there are two great grandchildren, Carter Keith and Blu Mario Brandon. 

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Paul White, Jr. and Dr. Marcus Benfield will officiate. Pallbearers are Robert Alexander, Tony Alexander, Ryan Riffle, Jerry Brackett, Jordan Alexander, and Clifford Alexander.

Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall.

Friends may pay their respects and sign the register book from 9 am until 1 pm Sunday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
