Betty Ramsey Richards, 81

Betty Ramsey Richards, 81, of Inman, SC, died Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Ruth Mayse Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann Gilreath and Marie Smith; and a brother, James Ramsey. She had been a seamstress at Skyland Textiles (Buster Brown), a lab technician at Mastercraft Oakland Plant and Elmore Spindale Plant, and at Hobby Lobby in Spartanburg in the cloth department before retiring in 2006. 

She is survived by her husband, Charles "Frank" Richards; her daughter, Robin Green Robertson and her husband Glenn, of Bostic; her stepdaughters, Crystal Morrow and fiancee Jamell Morrison of Conover, Sonya Smith and her husband Tony of Inman, Paula Miller and her husband Steve of Spartanburg; her sisters, Helen Turner  and her husband Frank of Caroleen, and Lola Morrow and her husband Tommy of Bostic; her brothers, Bobby Ramsey of Morganton, Clyde "Jr" Ramsey of Forest City, Wayne Ramsey and his wife Carol, and Jerry Ramsey and his wife Cheryl all of Bostic; granddaughters, Brooke Robertson and her fiancee Adam  Blakeman of Leander, TX, and Brianna Robertson of Bostic; 10 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. 

The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Wilson Baptist Church. The Rev. Curtis McDaniel will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Farrell Condrey, Blake Myers, Danny Myers, C.J. Ramsey, Glenn Robertson, and Tony Smith. 

The Visitation will be from 1:45 pm until 2:45 pm Sunday at the church prior to the service.
