Mrs. Bertha Christopher Trull, 72, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the widow of James O. "J.O." Trull, and a daughter of the late Luther and Bonnie Christopher. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Vickie Burton of Forest City, Bonnie Toney of Rutherfordton, and Lora Shippam of Bostic; a son, Ben Trull of Ellenboro; four sisters, Juanita Haspel and Joyce Griffin, both of Asheville, Mickey Holcombe of Kings Mountain, and Ruby Brendle of Enka; there are ten grandchildren, Rocky Gilliam, Kevin Gilliam, Kelly Gilliam, Derek Morgan, Candice Edwards, Miranda Arrowood, Chelsea Trantham, Summer Toney, Hayden Trull, and Ethan Trull; there are 11 great grandchildren, Logan Smith, Grayson Smith, Jaycee Edwards, Bryson Arrowood, Mabry Morgan, Lilly Gilliam, Jackson Morgan, Garrison Trantham, Elise Baker, Alissa Baker, and Garrett Trantham.
The Funeral will be conducted at 5:00 pm Sunday, August 25, 2103 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Rev. Paul White, Jr., Rev. David Hawkins, and Rev. Ken Linder will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bruce Toney, D.J. Burton, Jim Shippam, Hayden Trull, Ethan Trull, and Walt Steed.
The Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 4:45 pm Sunday at the church prior to the service.
