Arnold Philbeck, 76

Arnold Philbeck, 76, of Bostic, died Monday, November 20, 2023.

He was the son of the late Archie and Frances Ledbetter Philbeck, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Dean Philbeck. Arnold was a member of Rutherford Church of Christ. 

He is survived by his wife, Ruth McKelvey Philbeck; his daughter, Dana Harrill and her husband Jason, of Bostic; his brothers, Donald Philbeck of Bostic, and Shannon Philbeck of Shelby; his sister, Sheila Stone of Bostic; he has 2 grandchildren, Ashley Rich, Ryan Rich and his wife Darci; there are 3 great grandchildren, T.J. Phillips, Jameson Rich, and Mia Rich.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Monday, November 27, 2023 at Rutherford Church of Christ, 925 US 221 North, Rutherfordton. The Rev. Sam Adams and Rev. Stephen Hughes will officiate. The Rutherford County Honor Guard will provide Military Rites on the church grounds at the conclusion of the church service. 

The Visitation will be from 1 pm until 2:45 pm Monday at the church prior to the service.
