Arnold Young Moore, Sr.
Mr. Arnold Young Moore, Sr., 62, of Duncan's Creek Community, Ellenboro, died Thursday, February 13, 2014.
A Rutherford County native, he was a Vietnam veteran of the US Army, and received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Silver Star, Airman's Medal, CIB Medal, and Marksman Award.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Gettys Moore; two daughters, Christy Potter and her husband Glenn, of Ohio, and Laura Aldrich and her husband Benjamin, of Sevierville, TN; two sons, Arnold Moore, Jr. of Forest City, and Petty Officer 2nd Class Craig Caldwell of Norfolk, VA; there are four grandchildren.
Miltary Rites will be rendered at 1:00 pm Monday, February 17, 2014 on the grounds of Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service, provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
